About PNA

OUR VISION
Helping pets live longer, happier and healthier lives through better nutrition.

OUR MISSION
To position nutrition as essential to optimal pet health by providing resources to veterinary healthcare teams.

When the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) made the decision to develop the AAHA Nutritional Assessment Guidelines for Dogs and Cats, the Association also made the commitment to support the development of educational resources to increase compliance with the guidelines’ recommendations. The World Small Animal Veterinary Association (WSAVA) used the AAHA guidelines to develop the WSAVA Global Nutritional Assessment Guidelines. WSAVA has committed to developing tools to support this initiative globally.
