Dr. Jim Berry

Dr. Berry completed an MSc in zoology, followed by a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1990. He started in mixed animal practice in southern Ontario, before moving to the Ottawa valley working in companion animal medicine. Dr Berry moved to Fredericton, New Brunswick in 1996 where he currently practices. His main clinical interests are lameness assessments, orthopedics, and pain management.

He has served as the Past -President of the New Brunswick veterinary medical association (NBVMA) and participated as a member of the Animal Welfare, and Practice Standards committees of the NBVMA. Dr Berry is a Past-President of the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA), and participated for 7 years as a member of the CVMA Animal Welfare committee. He is currently the President-Elect of the International Veterinary Association for Pain Management.
