  • TammyOwens

    Dr. Tammy Owens is a 2009 graduate of The Ohio State University's College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduating, she completed a one-year rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Mississippi State University. Following her internship, she worked at a private specialty hospital as an emergency veterinarian for two years.

    Dr. Tabitha Hookey graduated from the University of New Brunswick with a Bachelor of Science in Biology followed by a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the Atlantic Veterinary College. She started her career as a companion animal practitioner in New Brunswick, Canada, and in that time developed a passion for canine and feline nutrition.

    Ed lives in Massachusetts and is the Technician Learning and Development Manager for Ethos Veterinary Health and VetBloom. He obtained a VTS (Nutrition) in 2014 and lectures frequently at local, regional, and national veterinary conferences on a variety of nutrition topics. He is the Treasurer of the Massachusetts and New Hampshire Veterinary Technician Associations, a member of the Academy of Veterinary Nutrition Technicians, a Member at Large of the NAVTA Executive Board.

  • Catherine-Lenox

    Dr. Catherine Lenox received her BS from Duke University and her DVM from the University of Missouri. After completing a residency in veterinary clinical nutrition at the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine, she was board certified by the American College of Veterinary Nutrition in 2011.

    Dr.​ ​Allison Wara graduated from the University of Guelph (Bsc/Zoology) and the Atlantic Veterinary College (DVM). She completed specialty training at the University of Missouri in Clinical Nutrition and is a board-eligible candidate for diplomacy by the ACVN. Dr. Wara is also undergoing certification in canine physical rehabilitation through the University of Tennessee.

    Dr. Colin F. Burrows is an Emeritus Professor of medicine and chair of the department of small animal clinical sciences at the University of Florida, College of Veterinary Medicine. A board-certified veterinary internist, Dr. Burrows specialty is the study of canine and feline gastrointestinal, hepatic and pancreatic disease.

    Douglas G Aspros has been a companion animal veterinary practitioner in suburban Westchester County, NY since earning his DVM degree from Cornell University. Dr. Aspros has been a member of the Pet Nutrition Alliance since 2011. Widely active in the profession, he served as president of the AVMA in 2012-13.
